Booking an assessment
Our eating disorder screening and assessment appointments provide a structured way to explore concerns about eating, food, body image, weight, or eating behaviours.
Our eating disorder screening and assessment appointment may include discussion of current eating patterns and concerns, relevant medical and developmental history, and the use of validated screening or assessment questionnaires where appropriate.
The aim is to develop a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your difficulties, identify whether further assessment or support may be helpful, and provide recommendations for next steps including writing to your doctor where appropriate.
Appointments are available for children, adolescents and adults, including people who are unsure whether their eating concerns may indicate an eating disorder.
Assessment fee: $199
Eating disorder screening and assessment appointments are privately billed and are not eligible for a Medicare rebate.
In-person assessments take place at our Bundaberg clinic and typically take 90 minutes. Select your preferred date and time using the button above. Appointment requests can be made up to 3 weeks in advance, and we will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your appointment.
