Making the most of your appointments

Newly diagnosed eating disorders need intensive support at the start of the treatment process, meaning regular appointments, close together are often needed and sometimes you can exceed the approved number of sessions under Medicare.

Private/self funded appointment options or extending Medicare

If you are unable to get an Eating Disorder Treatment & Management Plan from your GP you can still self fund your access to our services. The more sessions you have in any given 12 months period, the greater the discount we offer. Discounts are shown below.

If you have used all your Medicare rebated appointments within the 12 month period and wish to continue treatment until your plan is renewed, you can do so at the discounted private rate (see below).
